Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for Commercial Cookery Apprentices to work with our valued Host Employers. We have multiple Full time vacancies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year apprentices located within Adelaide & all surrounding areas.

As an Apprentice you will complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery over a 4 year training contract, gaining valuable industry skills.

Position Information

In this role you would perform a range of specialist cooking roles such as planning and preparing food. You may also undertake the following:

• Prepare dishes using basic methods of cookery.
• Prepare vegetable, fruit, egg and farinaceous dishes.
• Work effectively as a cook in a fast paced environment.
• Clean kitchen premises and equipment as per WHS regulations.
• Plan and cost basic menus.

Position Requirements

To be considered for a Commercial Cookery apprenticeship the following is required:

• Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Be punctual and have a good work ethic.
• Be able to use initiative and work well in a team.
• Ability to handle fast paced services.
