Course Overview

This broad qualification will give you practical foundation skills needed to carry out a range of basic tasks in the mining, civil and construction industries.

Course Duration

  • 10 weeks full-time (or part-time equivalent)*
  • 12 months with traineeship

* Only available at Adelaide delivery location.

Course Requirements

You will need to attend training in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • safety boots
  • safety glasses
  • workwear

Study Mode

  • Blended – some classroom work is required.

TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck [High Risk Licence (includes closed book exam)]

Group B (select minimum 1, maximum 2 units)

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces
RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights

RIIMPO335E – Conduct skid steer loader operations without attachments

Participants must be 18 years of age for high risk licences.
