Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a full time First or Second Year Commercial Cookery Apprentice to work with our valued Host Employer, the Roseworthy Hotel, in Adelaide.

As part of this position, you will undertake a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery while working alongside experienced culinary supervisors to learn skills across all kitchen areas.

Position Information

As a Commercial Cookery apprentice, you will perform a range of specialist cooking roles, including planning and preparing food. You may also undertake the following:

• Prepare dishes using basic methods of cookery.
• Menu planning and preparation.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced and team environment.
• Clean kitchen environment and equipment as per WHS regulations.
• Produce quality dishes efficiently.

Position Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should:

• Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Be able to use initiative and work well in a team environment.
• Be punctual and have a good work ethic.
• Be able to satisfactorily pass a pre employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol testing.
