Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for Carpentry Apprentices to work with our valued Host Employers across all Adelaide areas. These positions are full time. As part of this position, you will undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry, where you will learn a range of skills on-the-job to become a qualified carpenter.

Position Information

The main role of a carpenter is to construct, erect, install, finish and repair wooden structures and fixtures on residential and commercial buildings.

You may also undertake the following:

• Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
• Construct wall and ceiling frames
• Carry out measurements and calculations
• Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
• Read and interpret plans and specifications

Position Requirements

To be considered for this position, the following is required:

• Be punctual and have a good work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Pass a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug & alcohol testing
• Hold a current Driver’s Licence
