Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for multiple full time Plumbing Apprentices to work with our valued Host Employer based in Camden Park, Adelaide.

As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Plumbing, where you will work under experienced supervisors to learn a range of skills and become a fully qualified Plumber.

What does a Plumbing Apprentice do?

Plumbing Apprentices learn a range of skills related to installing and repairing water, drainage, gas and sewerage pipes and systems. You may also undertake the following tasks:

• Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
• Set out and install hot and cold water systems and associated equipment.
• Install water-based fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
• Design and install sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes, and sanitary fixtures.

Position Requirements

• Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol testing.
• Hold a current driver’s licence (desirable).
• Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Be punctual and have a great work ethic.
• Be able to use initiative and work well in a team.
