Fitter and Turner Apprenticeships
Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for multiple Fitter and Turner Apprentices to work with our skilled and valued Host Employer in Ingle Farm, Adelaide.
As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade as a 4-year apprenticeship, where you will learn on the job to become a skilled and qualified carpenter.
What does a Fitter and Turner Apprentice do?
As a Fitter and Turner Apprentice, you will learn to undertake a range of general fabrication tasks, including MIG, stick and TIG welding, as well as the following tasks:
- Industrial shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Industrial maintenance.
- Construction and project work.
- Steel erection and manual machining.
- Fitting out and repairing horse floats.
Position Requirements
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Be able to use initiative and communicate well to work in a team.
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic.
