Boilermaker Apprenticeships
Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for multiple Boilermaker Apprentices to work with our skilled and valued Host Employer in Ingle Farm. These are full time positions.
As an apprentice you will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) over a 4-year training contract, where you will work in a factory setting. This role will require travel for on-site work.
What does a Boilermaker Apprentice do?
Working as a Boilermaker, you will produce metal fabricated products with various metal materials, using a range of hand and power tools. You may also undertake the following tasks:
- Interpret technical drawing
- Perform engineering measurements
- Use of power tools/ hand held operations
- Assemble fabricated components, Fabrication of metalwork
- Welding using gas metal arc welding process
- Machining and machine fabrication from workshop drawings through to installation
Position Requirements
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Be able to use initiative and communicate well to work in a team.
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- Be punctual and have good work ethic.
