Boilermaker Apprenticeship
Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for all year apprentices to work with our valued Host Employer in Wingfield.
These are fulltime positions. As an apprentice you will undertake a 4-year training contract (Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication) where you will learn on the job to become a qualified Boilermaker.
Position Information
Working as a Boilermaker you will produce metal fabricated products with various metal materials, using a range of hand and power tools.
You may also undertake the following:
- Interpret technical drawing
- Perform engineering measurements
- Use of power tools/handheld operations
- Assemble fabricated components, Fabrication of metalwork
- Welding using gas metal arc welding process
- Machining and machine fabrication from workshop drawings through to installation
Position Requirements
To be considered for an apprenticeship the following is required:
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be a hard worker
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
- Hold a current White card
