Administration Traineeship – AIOH

Adelaide Institute of Hospitality (a division of Career Employment Group Inc) is seeking applications for an Administration Trainee to work in our Adelaide CBD Office. The core function of this role will be to demonstrate exceptional friendly and informative customer service by being the first point of contact for our training students and employers. The role will also provide administration support within our training department with a key focus on liaising with clients, enrolling training students into various systems and using your data entry skills across a range of internal processes.
This position is full time Monday to Friday, working 38 hours per week.
As a trainee you will undertake a Certificate III in Business. This is a 12 month contract with a view to extend to a permanent role upon successful completion.
What does an Administration Trainee do?
In the role you will:
- Provide quality customer service through reception duties including answering incoming calls, distributing calls and answering reception counter
- Complete efficient data entry and use of various computer systems
- Work cohesively with our training team adhering to all administration processes
- Book travel arrangements for our trainers as required
- Assist in notifying apprentices and employers of scheduled training dates
- Follow-up documentation from students
- Arrange documentation in preparation for training courses
- Undertake filing and archiving
- Be willing to undertake ad-hoc administration duties as directed by management
Employee Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a current driver’s licence (desirable).
- Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol testing.
- Be willing to learn and be adaptable to changing work priorities.
- Be able to manage time efficiently and work well under pressure.
- Have a willingness and understanding to work with all people.
