Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for Warehouse Operations staff located with our valued host employer in the Northern Suburbs in Burton.

These are casual labour hire positions, working Monday to Friday, 6am to 1-2pm, with Saturdays optional depending on workloads.

Position Information

Working in Warehouse Operations you will ensure goods are moved correctly, stored, received and dispatched efficiently and safely. Tasks include:

  • Warehousing duties in a warehouse environment.
  • Loading/unloading trucks containing ordered stock.
  • Checking stock invoices manually against deliveries and dispatched goods.
  • Load/unload packages and check contents matches the orders.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Picking and packing using iPad order systems.

Position Requirements

To be considered for this position the following is required:

  • Ability and willingness to work in a physical demanding environment.
  • Warehousing picking and packing experience (advantageous).
  • Label, stock check offs and stock racking experience.
  • The ability to form respectful, positive relationships.
  • Forklift Licence and reach truck main picker experience essential.
  • Be punctual and have a good work ethic.
  • Hold a current drivers licence (advantageous, must be able to get to and from work each day).
  • Available to start ASAP.
  • PPE and Training supplied.
